I built one for you. Here's Skilled Trades College.
This is my sponsor-pitch tool, 3ilion, run start to finish on a real prospect for Boxing Canada. It isn't a mock-up of what I might do. The research is real, the pitch site is built and working, and every claim in both traces back to a dated public source.
Set the rules
Boxing Canada can sell only what it owns: the national team, its own events, its programs and its digital channels. No Olympic or Team Canada marks, no Commonwealth Games marks, no World Boxing event marks. Nothing in the pitch needs anyone else's sign-off.
Start with your current partners
Before picking a brand, I checked who already backs Boxing Canada, so the pitch wouldn't go to an existing partner or clash with one. The public record shows government and COC funding, an equipment and apparel supplier, and no national corporate sponsor since the title deal ended in 2019. The field is open. I then scored ten possible partners, leaving out equipment brands (to protect your supplier), betting and alcohol.
Read everything
Three streams: your own inventory and plans, the candidate field, and STC's brand, voice, sport ledger and decision-makers. Each claim dated and rated for confidence.
Write it to them
A pitch site in STC's register, addressed to its founder. Tap reactions come back to Boxing Canada before the first meeting.
- The screen
No title, presenting or non-equipment partner appears anywhere on Boxing Canada's public record for 2024 to 2026. Outside one category, the field is empty. That's the room to sell into.
- The buyer
Skilled Trades College renewed with UFC for multiple years on January 22, 2026, signed Georges St-Pierre as an ambassador and runs a scholarship called "Building Champions". It has already decided that combat sport recruits tradespeople.
- The gap
Every UFC asset STC bought reaches adult pay-per-view fans, and its scholarship starts at 18. Your U19 registrations went from 266 in 2019 to 1,071 this year. No career or trades brand owns the youth end of the sport. That's the opening.
- Your own plan
Appendix E of your Hosting Plan already lists naming rights to the Youth and School Cups and the Student Athlete Points List, two-year minimum. So the pitch sells what you've already written down.
- The reader
Ralph Cerasuolo is a master electrician who founded STC to staff his own company. His COO built a Raptors athlete deal that STC credits with a 35% jump in leads. So it's written owner to owner, and it carries a number they can count.
- The risk
A sponsor will ask about 2022, the external safety review and World Boxing's sex testing. The report answers all three plainly, so you aren't caught out in the room.
Every 3ilion pitch is designed to be read on the sponsor's phone before anywhere else, because that's where a first look actually happens: between meetings, on a job site, forwarded from a colleague. Short sections, one idea per screen, and tap reactions instead of forms. Open the pitch site on your phone to see it the way Ralph Cerasuolo would.
For Boxing Canada only, not for STC. Twelve sections on STC: who they are, how they talk, what they buy, who decides, the conflict screen, the risks a sponsor will raise, and the indicative pricing.
The pitch: what STC would see →What STC would see. Tap "Show research notes" at the top to see which finding shaped each section.
- Event bidding & hosting
Turning your 2024 to 2028 Hosting Plan into won bids, starting with a 2028 World Boxing Cup in Calgary while World Boxing's Congress meets on November 20. I co-founded ONE Championship, so combat-sport events are home ground.
- Commercial & sponsorship
Selling the Appendix E inventory to the right buyers, one researched pitch at a time, with the staff you have.
- AI & digital
Research, pitch and reporting tools like this one, set up so a lean national office can run them itself.
- Strategy & governance
The new strategic plan and the move to the Canadian Sport Governance Code, written so sponsors and funders can read it.
